📖 Our Story
The Crave School grew out of Planet Yum, a creative business founded in 2005 by Andrew Dyer and Robin Imms.
Robin: A former champion ballroom dancer and dance studio owner, Robin has a natural gift for teaching and inspiring groups. With baking in his blood (literally—his family were generations of British bakers), he now channels his love for French patisserie and macarons into Crave School workshops.
Andrew: With a background in communications, entertainment, astrology, and psychology, Andrew brings a unique blend of creativity and insight. A passionate cook with Italian roots, he’s happiest when making fresh pasta, pizza, and bread—and teaching others to do the same.
Together, Andrew and Robin built Planet Yum, a thriving soap and fragrance business with thousands of customers. But after years of mass production, they longed for something more personal and fulfilling. So they sold Planet Yum to a trusted colleague and turned their focus to what they love most: teaching, sharing, and inspiring creativity in others.
And so, The Crave School of Inspired Learning was born.
